Is Tajin Seasoning Gluten Free?
Yes, Tajín seasoning is generally considered gluten-free. The classic Tajín seasoning blend consists of chili peppers, salt, and dehydrated lime juice, which are all naturally gluten-free ingredients.

Low in calories: Tajín is relatively low in calories, making it a flavorful option for those watching their calorie intake.
Contains vitamin C: The lime juice powder in Tajín provides some vitamin C, which is an antioxidant that supports immune function.
May boost metabolism: The chili peppers in Tajín contain capsaicin, which may temporarily boost metabolism.
Potential appetite suppressant: Spicy foods like Tajín may help reduce appetite and promote feelings of fullness.
Enhances flavor without added fats: It can add flavor to foods without the need for additional fats or oils.
May improve digestion: Some studies suggest that capsaicin can aid digestion and reduce gastrointestinal discomfort.
Provides trace minerals: Tajín contains small amounts of minerals like potassium and magnesium from its ingredients.
May have anti-inflammatory properties: Capsaicin has been associated with potential anti-inflammatory effects.
Could support heart health: When used instead of salt, it may help reduce overall sodium intake, which is beneficial for heart health.
Encourages consumption of fruits and vegetables: Many people enjoy Tajín on fruits and vegetables, potentially increasing their intake of these healthy foods.
Remember that while Tajín can be part of a healthy diet, it should be consumed in moderation due to its sodium content.
People with citrus allergies, as Tajin contains dehydrated lime juice
Those with a low tolerance for spicy foods, as it contains chili peppers
Individuals on a low-sodium diet, due to its salt content
People with acid reflux or GERD, as the citrus and spice may exacerbate symptoms
Those with sensitive stomachs or irritable bowel syndrome (IBS)
Individuals with certain oral conditions, as the acidity may irritate mouth sores or dental work
Young children, who may find the spiciness overwhelming
People taking medications that interact with grapefruit, as Tajin contains citrus (though in small amounts)
Those with specific food sensitivities to any of Tajin’s ingredients
Individuals following a low-FODMAP diet, due to the chili pepper contentRemember, while these groups should be cautious, many people can enjoy Tajin seasoning in moderation without issues. Always consult with a healthcare professional if you have specific dietary concerns.

What is Tolerase® G?
A new Approach for People with Gluten Sensitivity:
Explore the Science and Benefits of Tolerase® G.
Relief from Gluten Sensitivity
In the fight against gluten, there is a unique supplement that stands out: Little Helpers anti-gluten pills with 100% Tolerase® G.
This specific enzyme, Tolerase® G, a patented endopeptidase specific for proline, was developed by Royal DSM and has been scientifically proven to be effective in breaking down gluten residues ( 1) . Furthermore, research has shown that Aspergillus niger prolyl endoprotease (AN-PEP), an enzyme closely related to Tolerase® G, can break down gluten so effectively that it barely reaches the duodenum, potentially eliminating gluten toxicity ( 2) ( 3 ) .
On this page we explain why we are so enthusiastic about this supplement, supported by scientific research.

What is Gluten?
Gluten is a group of proteins found primarily in grains such as wheat, barley, and rye. These complex proteins give shape, strength, and texture to bread and other grain products. However, gluten is difficult to digest because it is rich in proline, a non-essential amino acid. This is why about 13% of the world’s population is sensitive to gluten in their diet (1).
How Tolerase® G Works
It is important to note that Tolerase G is designed to have optimal activity in the difficult conditions of the stomach. Its effectiveness on the digestion of gluten in the stomach and duodenum has been scientifically proven ( 1 ).
Studies have shown that a newly identified prolyl endoprotease derived from Aspergillus niger can effectively break down gluten proteins. This enzyme works optimally at a pH of 4–5, remains stable at pH 2, and is completely resistant to digestion by pepsin ( 2 ). Furthermore, research has shown that Aspergillus niger prolyl endoprotease (AN-PEP) accelerates the breakdown of gluten in the stomach so much that very little gluten reaches the duodenum ( 3 ). This suggests that co-administration of AN-PEP with a meal containing gluten could potentially eliminate gluten toxicity, allowing people to (occasionally) abandon their strict gluten-free diet ( 3 ).
