Who Can Apply
- 18 years or older
- Enrolled in or accepted to a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate programme at an accredited institution in the UK, USA, Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, or France
- Studying nutrition, food science, chemistry, biology, dietetics, public health, or a closely related field
- Demonstrates curiosity or involvement in gluten-free living, digestive health, or food innovation
How to Apply
Write a 500–700-word essay on one of the following topics:
- Making Gluten-Free Life Easier: Practical innovations that reduce accidental gluten exposure in everyday settings (restaurants, schools, workplaces, or travel).
- From Lab to Table: How enzyme science (such as prolyl endopeptidases like Tolerase® G) could support people who avoid gluten, and the ethical questions this raises.
- Food Label Clarity: Your proposed blueprint for clearer allergen and cross-contamination labelling across the EU, UK, and U.S.
- Inclusive Eating: A personal story or research-backed plan for making dining more inclusive for people with celiac disease or gluten sensitivity.

Rules: One submission per person. No GPA minimum; no application form required. Applicants must be able to verify age, identity, and enrolment if selected.
AI Policy
We encourage use of grammar tools, but the ideas and writing must be entirely your own. All essays are screened with AI and plagiarism detection. Submissions written primarily by AI tools will be disqualified.
Selection & Notification
Our selection team will evaluate essays based on originality, clarity, impact, and practicality.
The winner will be notified by email on or before March 1, 2026. The winner must confirm acceptance within 7 days, or another recipient will be chosen.
